Hey Guys,
i am Patrick (27 yrs) from Austria.. I listen to Psytrance since 2002, one year ago i started "producing".
Because of my work i dont have much time, but i started a new track some days ago:
It is far away from being finished, i like 8bit sounds, retro stuff, acid screaming tb-303's, but i wonder how profesionals do those white noise "basslines" that sound similar to a guitar riff ?! I dont really know how to explain ?
Maybe someone knows what i mean, if not i will look it up and post a sample somewhere.
I used to have Korg EMX-1, Access Virus A, Gameboy with LSDJ, Midibox SID MB-6582, x0xb0x and several other goodies, but i had them all sold because of a lack of money.
Now i only got my selfmade DAW
I saved some money and ordered another Korg EMX-1 and i am looking for a Access Virus KC or TI Keyboard (because i enjoy hardware so much more, jamming roxx).

enjoy and remember producing is about having fun and being creative some hard work and time consumption.. I wish you well and lots of happy times hehe

Thanks for the link, i will have a look at all the videos, i see that some of the secrets are not all about skill, but more about tools to use in the right place (which also could be interpreted as skill )
In his first video he uses saturation for the bass, i think that is the first thing i will give a try. Thank you for your effort. Patrick

Ok.. i worked on the Bassline a little, and removed some stuff that seemed kinky..
i found a sample of what i am looking for (white noise or guitar riff sound)
Listen its starting @ 3:45

Still looking for those guitar riff like sound that goes along in the above song i posted (the ozora youtube vid). Can anyone help me create such a sound ?
I worked on my track a little, used some reverse kicks and crashes to make it a little intense. Well its still boring, but its better
)
