Absolutely agree. I just discovered this gem a few weeks ago and wondered how I'd survived before without having this music at my fingertips. So full of emotion, Helios has outdone his last release, "Unomia", which is also a favorite.
The blending of acoustic instrumentation with minimal electronica creates a haunting yet comforting environment. Do you ever have those moments when you may feel melancholy, and then you play something tender which wraps up your melancholy and transports you to that place in tears of joy? Well, I do...and Helios' Eingya fits the bill perfectly for such moments. I think this release is a must-have for everyone.

If you take a listen to Eingya, you will find a very different sound in some ways...much more ambient, so I would beg to differ about it being IDM. Your mileage may vary. |

Ah, I wish I was going to be in London for that...guess I'll have to wait until he decides to play the West coast somewhere. I'll bet it will be an unforgettable show! |

Awwww...pity I haven't checked that before, I'm leaving London before the party starts
However, all the best Giani much respect for your bet.
