True, it sounds like it's going to be a bit of a monster! Hope my 450mHz P3 can handle it (why is everyone laughing?) |

I wish it was a joke dude, I'm so poor, blues singers turn up at my house for inspiration when they've got writers block (now THAT's a joke!) |

Maybe we could both save our cash for a few months and then go half's on a new midi lead
The vst-i does look nice, but as posted, it's kinda costly. For that amount of dollar, you could get a nice second hand virus, nord, etc.
Or you could donate it to the poor and CPU needy (namely me & PsyGoatDelic) |

Cool, I can upgrade to a Sinclair ZX Spectrum (48k of memory, 9 colours plus glorious 8 bit sound as standard in 1982. Let's see Mr Heartman compete with that!) |

There is nothing to be so impressed by it , first of all we need to hear ............... Korg and Access released VST too but it not even close to some analogue fakers like Vanguard or Albino ...............
----------------------------------------------------
Neuron VS is built around the same sound engine found in the Neuron Hardware Synthesizer
----------------------------------------------------
it means it would sound as analogue synthesizer ?
or around means that plugin made near stock of synthesizers ................ don't get it |

what's the idea anyway for the company to release the vst that quick- i'm sure this can harm their sales for the HW one,
anyway i'm very curious to hear his sound- would it be as quality as absynth/vanguard/fm7 etc etc. . . or perhaps some more?? Space is the place

Sektor666, Access soft synths (TC Powercore and TDM ProTools) must sound the same like the Virus tabletop/KBD, but even so you said that Access doesn't sound as good as the Vanguard or Albino. I don't agree with you.
About the Korg Legacy, the Polysix's filter reminds me of the Virus filter, i.e. when the cutoff freq. is modulated by LFO. But I don't use this soft synth.
The neuron wasn't designed to emulate analogue sounds like the real VA's do (e.g. Nord, Viruses etc.), but I think it could do nice emulations. The Waldorf XT is wavetable-based and it can sound analog as required.
