wow just think about a trance party that dont bother no one.
the only ppl who hear the music are the ppl dancing in the dancefloor...
this can be HUGH.
the cops wont come.
who cares about a bounch of ppl dancing without the music...
and just think about how this silent dancefloor will look.

Well, more interesting - you know what cool surround sound tricks you can do with something like that? How tracks can sound ultra fat? And how we wont feel like we lowered the age we become deaf at by 5 years? That'll totally rock

Using much higher frequencies than that can be heard - you can transfer music directly into the brain. That's the idea. It still has some bugs (bass! I still don't know how hearing a thumping bass without feeling it at a party will be like). The possibilities are endless (for once, a 100% accurate sound, that everyone hears the same, ultra accurate surround positioning, etc). The nice thing is that these frequencies dissapate very fast. So you won't hear it from far away. Actually - you can "aim" the sound pretty accurately. No more police busting parties, if they get this to work right.
And so on, and so on, and so on. A lot of possibilities.

I don't think you would feel any bass... you can only hear the low freqs, but not feel your stomach pumping up and down. That's a fact I guess...
