I heard these two tracks I really liked. One had a voice clip with a man saying, "All was quiet on New Years Day", and the other was a remix of the Doors - Riders on the Storm with a women singing the lyrics. If anyone knows the names - please please let me know!!! |

I think the track with the New Years Day voice clip has been sampled from U2 - New Years Day. Still not sure of the artist/track |

samk i think i know what you're talking about but i can't help you.
2 years ago, when i got to boom festival 2002, on the dancefloor someone was playing a track that also featured "riders on the storm". i don't remember exactly if this one had a woman singing or if it was jim morrison's vocals. i've been looking for that track ever since, but could never find anything related.
can anyone help??

Theres a few trance (i.e not psy trance) remixes of New Years Day by U2 - think Paul Oakenfold & Ferry Corsten have both done remixes |

Heya..The New Years track played at Hilltop last year as well, and it is from U2 = New Years Day.
I remember litening to riders on the storm too, at the christmas party at Hilltop, not as bothered about the name, but the one i really want to figure out the name of is the track played at closing of the christmas party, the doors - the end...was a totally wiked way to finish killer party and have been searching for this since then...Any Ideas

there is one track by tube... but i dont know if the vocals are by a woman or by jim morrison himself... try downloading the track somehow... maybe it will help... i was there in hilltop for newyears... and there are two killa tracks that still blows my mind... i guess they were played by domino...
one had sample "psychedilic"... a wicked mail voice says psychedilic and the song takes off...
the oter one had sample "wake up"... i dont remember if it was a male voice or female voice... but i am sure it was played by domino... she rocked the whole place that day man... i couldnt believe that a girl was opening newyear's in hilltop... but man she was too good... there were a lot more amazing tracks, but these two i enjoyed the most...
can anyone help???
