Headstick Recordings is proud to finally present a Magus remixes CD.
Magus, were formed during 1997, by Kostas Alekoglou (aka Phacelift - Candyflip) and C. Tatitzikidis (aka Igneous Sauria - Creamcrop, Headstick, Flying Rhino, Hadshot).
They released on various labels including Creamcrop, Flow, Databass, Digital Psionics etc. and made tracks with some of the hottest names of that time, including Yumade, Tripiatrik, Pied Piper Paul, Orichalcum and Jens from Creamcrop.
However, they never had an album released, since the broke up before that!
Now, in 2004, some of the hottest names of the scene, have taken the task to remix and refresh some of their classic and unreleased stuff.
Tracklist includes:
crystal ball -- charasmatix
digital silence -- genetic spin
egoes out/oxymorous -- man made man
imploded brains -- setherian/opsis
liquid mint -- la baaz/paste (to be confirmed)
realm of the jealous gods -- bigwigs
stepladder -- sensient
tura buna ce -- drone
assemblance point -- igneous
The CD should hit the shops some time in October.

Great news!
Magus was one of my most wanted artist on my p2p days! hehehehe
Nice to see that Seth is going to make the rmx for Imploded Brains. I´m sure Sensient rmx for Steplader must be killer! And I´m really curious to hear Egous Out rmx(the original is on my top ever for sure)!!!
I just miss the Word Salad track...  Can I make the rmx? lol

Our rmx is nearly finished now, just needs some minor adjustments, mixing and stuff like that.
It has been a looooooooot of hard work, and much more than usually, because we felt we really had something to live up compared to the original.
I just hope people will like it and to Dj Buju I really got happy when I read you were looking forward to hearing our rmx - that's amazing!!!

^ you guys got the best magus track (imho) hope you did something wicked with it  this sounds quite good... a nice selection of artists remixing some good old tunes! best wishes for this release.
