Headphonics Protect EP released!
The electronic music collective Headphonics has released their debut album Protect!. The founding figures of Headphonics, Tommi Sirkiä (Haltya, Highpersonic Whomen) and Markku Louhio (Kiwa) have produced a bouncing breakbeat influenced release which is spiced up with electro vibes and finalized with funky basslines. Headphonics take their influences from the old soundtracks, 70´s funk, house, breakbeat, drum ´n´ bass, hip hop and even cartoons. The third track in the EP is a remix by LBJ (Jonas Verwijnen, Moving Shadow) who is highly appreciated in the Finnish breakbeat scene.
Protect! EP features also noted Finnish artists Hosni Boudali in the vocals and Tuukka Mielonen as a turntablist.

this one's a great sneak-peak of the upcoming album "mass" which will be rel.
in feb 2007. the album will be one of the
greatest and funkiest releases from exogenic music group so far. watch out for headphonics!
