hm, yea..you can take my word 100% just get one out of the pro line and you will enjoy them..

ask on gearslutz as well or anywhere else..

ive tested all beyerdynamics and akgs and sennheisers..but everytime i tested an ultrasone the squit runs out of my mouth

get this one ;9

Ultrasone Edition 8 Palladium 1300€

No, but read a little about this ones..

Ultrasone Pro 750
Ultrasone Pro 2500

or if you save up a little more and want a headphone for the rest of your life ..

Ultrasone - Pro 2900 (its the best one i`ve ever listened on)

I actualy didn`t try these..

Ultrasone Pro 650
Ultrasone Pro 550

but i would suggest they are as good stuff or at least better..than..

in your situation i would write an email to ultrasone and ask them wich one is suited best for electronic music..since the first two are in the same priceleague for example..
or just ask what makes the diference between them..

Idk about studio phones, but I had a pair of Ultrasone DJ-1s that were GREAT, sounded GREAT, were very light and rugged, lasted about 3 years until somehow one of the cans turned itself 540 degrees, breaking its wire... I was just the wrong type of careless I guess. I tried to save em, but sadly, the wire wasnt long enough to splice... But based on the standup job they did while alive, I'd buy Ultrasones again, DJ or studio purpose.           .

Sure its better than the dt990 but i wouldn`t spend 280€ for it actualy. In comparison to the Ultrasone ones.           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

i've had these for 2 years now and i'm pretty satisfied with the price/quality ratio.
