Hey guys,
anyone has some advices for good headphones to make music?
i´ve got monitors but i can´t use them at night...hehehe...saving the neighbours,
i´ve got some headphones wich are not very good, and i gave up making music whith them because when i go to hear what i make with them in the monitors it just sounds really bad, a pure waste of time to make music with them.
So, are there any headphones that give a real sound, and that are ok for production?Any advices on specific models?

you can but real good headphones - but i think it is a waste of money
buy regular phones - you know what cost 10 dollars .
but you must know that they not specified to production .
What i am doing - if i work at night - i make the track -what i need to and then i am trying not to play with eq or compressin because you will not hear nothing really.
but if you know what is the difference between the monitors and phones in sound you can greatly make all the track in headphones and then make a little corrections |

Obviously if you want to make a true stereo image monitoring with headphones, you want to buy good studio headphones.
You can look through the forum for many posts about this allready.

whatever you decide in the end, make sure you do not use them for long (at least have an 1 minute break every quarter of an hour) and do not use them at very high volumes because ears are very sensitive and always useful for the rest of our lives.

ok guys thanks 4 the replies,
yes, triplex, no doubt about that, we must be carefull and save our ears as much as we can...!
actually i think there are some speciall ear plugs to make music, that protect your ears
