Headphones - Beyer Dynamic?

Ok, I'm really getting confused here. I've got a pair of really really bad headphones, so I've decided to buy a new pair. They should be suitable for studio-work, as I don't have the money or space for studio-monitors yet, but also just for listening.

Searching this and other forums have helped me a lot so far, and I now have 3 high end phones on my list, that can be found at approx. the same price:

AKG K 271 ( http://www.akg.com/products/powerslave,mynodeid,164,id,250,pid,250,_language,EN.html )
Sennheiser HD 25 ( http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/icm_eng.nsf/root/products_headphones_professionals_02976 )
Beyer Dynamic DT 990 ( http://www.beyerdynamic.com/com/product/sheets/d241.php3 )

I've seen both the AKG and Sennheisers mentioned in this forum before, but is there anyone who have experienced the Beyer Dynamic?

And if you where in my shoes, what would you pick? Is there even some cheaper phones that does the trick just as good?

Thanks in advance.          DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

btw again, go and check all of them out at a store first. because headies also have to be comfty, because u wear them for long time sometimes (throught the whole night ) and you should also check if u want open ones (beyer dynamic) or closed ones (sennheiser) or half-open (akg).           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

This is so irritating to wear headphones all the night long!
specially when you have long hair...

this is very very important the headphones to be comfy!
you will get big headache with untoward ones!
