HDMI Sound Cards, is that posible ?

Hello all !
I was wondering if its possible to make Sound cards based on HDMI system.
For me this port is solid, transmits audio and video very well...
Does anyone have some info about this...
Dont... know just wondering

no you cannot add internal soundcard on most laptops. But many laptops these days are coming with hdmi port inbuilt so you can transmit audio/video but im not really sure if HD audio codecs are supported yet in laptops.
