...balanced = +4dBu, that s true.

but if i ve got an output of this kind, is it possible to run the hd 25 on them ? in the manual it isn t written if they accept this higher voltage, n i won t burn them...

AFAIK when you connect unbalanced to balanced it automatically turn into unbalanced meaning if any part in your studio sequence is unbalanced it will give unbalanced signle at the end...and will turn into -10 DB

I'm almost sure about it but not for 100%....

it doesn't work that way.

+4 and -10 I/O are unamlified inputs/outputs at nominal line level while the headphones need an amlified output. so tou can't connect your headphones to an aux or send output.           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.

also, it realy depends on the impendance of the headphones.,
i get a realy low level from my senheisers (hd 265) because they have a high resistance.,
at first i thought they were broken because of this
but now i know they can realy be abused., they can easily handle line level signals without attenuation.,
not sure about +4dbu but they should be usable at those levels.,

anyway, check the impendance, if it's high then you've got less chance that they will be damaged by hi output levels of the amp.,

aka.,

hmm.,., mine is 150 ohm , so there is a good chance that you will break yours when you connect it directly to a line source.,
and with soundcards, there is propably no analogue level trim so if you want to monitor at normal levels (on the headphones) you are going to loose bit resolution., but you need to check that.,

i think the best thing is to get an old(cheap) amplifier and use the headphones output on it.,

", but this got much noise/bad snr."

check first if the noise isn't comming from your soundcard!!!
