Hey ppl, i'm about to buy a new HD and would like to hear your recommends.
I thought about buying HD with 80 or 120Gb, 8Mb Cache and 7200RPM.
Now i thought of several brands like WD, Seagate and Maxtor.
What would ya recommend?           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Seagate are very nice.
Maxtor are nice also...
though I don't trust WD anymore....           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

Another thing to pay attention to - is the ATA speed.
Most HD work today with ATA 100, new ones are 133 and there's a new thing called SATA (Serial ATA) which goes up to 150. Check your motherboard to see what it supports.
