just saw a docu on some weird TV channel - Dave Brock refused to take part because Nik Turner was also on it - what a twat Dave is for holding a grudge after all these years
I remember accidentally setting fire to Daves bus at Cissbury Rings - it was an accident
Anyone want to discuss Hawkwind - they were the pioneers of space rock psychedelia
I don't think this psy scene would be real if it wasn't for Hawkwind |

They showed that doc on BBC4, and it was followed by the promo film of Silver Machine and then a doc about alternative living in the late 60's/early 70's in London, which featured an interview with Raja Ram and some footage of Quintessence Essential Hawkwind albums for classic sounding space rock imho, would be the first 6, ie. Hawkwind, In Search of Space, Doremi Fasolatido, Space Ritual, Hall of the Mountain Grill, and Warrior on the Edge of Time.
Turn On, Tune In, Trance Out!!!
