i've been visiting goa for the last 4 years but this year the music scene wasn't impressive or maybe im just not getting it ..... need help plz guide

the trance of today is dead compared to what it used to be like. its just full on this and skazi that. yaaaawwnn!! 97/98 was the best years for psytrance, it just went downhill and commercial after that.
you still do get small parties with a proper goa vibe although they are few and far between. |

come on man...its not that bad..........this years music is quite good actully........its gone back 2-3 years and u can see that its again the same bassline and melody music.....and i really enjoyed the music they played this year in goa........very nice vibes at the party also.............keep the psy flag high.....

Yes, I agree with 'jack'.
There have been some great releases in the last coupla years.
And for those you havent been around to properly experience 97/98... I go crazy abt the remastered 'Prana" and the new 'Retrodelic Vibes'.
New names that are great are "Talpa', "Misted M' , As alwasy 'Wizzy Noise"
Lets not do the 'oh now its all bullshit' routine >

don't agree friend.imho the season 2004/2005 is a special period for music.the tribes from all over are presenting very interesting music
from israel we have the NWOIT(safi connection,psytekk,echotek)
from greece we have heliotrope,wizzy's new release,opsis etc
from australia the zenon crew
south africa has released a sonic attack with damage,shift etc
russia,what can I tell about russia,u understand...
south america is rocking everyday
so many to mention...
so by telling that trance has gone downhill and commercial is a bit offtopic.perhaps u had lost the feeling which is alright.but don't b negative all things are going very well.

You are not the problem but GOA is and all these which call them selves trance artists.
It will take a while but trance will be back.
