You know I read somewhere that when you are stuck on a tune its better to move on to something else and not even think about it for at least a couple of days or weeks and that way you will give your subcouncious mind that problem to work it out. And then when you come back to it your councious mind will know what to do since it has already been processed and reprocessed by the subconcious...SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT HUH... |

i recommend stealing.
listen to some songs from a completely different genre and straight-up hijack their chord progression. or steal 1 or 2 measures of melody from Bach or something. You should be able to find a juicy enough nugget somewhere to get your creative juices flowing in the direction of a finished track.
