have you ever checked out how many parties are held in the balkans?

Every big psytrance name is playing in belgrad and skopjie.And we can't host anybody?And the few descent parties are held in Thessaloniki.Aren't there any places in athensor there aren't any ravers in athens anymore? |

What makes you think that no decent parties take place in Athens but just in Thesaloniki?Did you bother to check out the scheudle of Athens in the last couple months for example and go to any of those parties?

see detox I told you you never agree with me.just check in the forum the parties that were held in the balkans in the past few months and compare them with the ones that were held in athens.except if you caled all these names secretely and you went to the parties alone.Much love Detox. |

The thing isnt who but where.....
Trypes are ok for time to time bad sound too....
But you cant do that all the time...
Bad clubs and sound = less enjoynment...
I missed Alsos - Battery - Old +soda and so many other great old clubs...
It seems here in athens we go back no forward..
Examples are millions. Most recent :
Astrix (live at Love) VS Astrix (live at Club22)
Same artist ........
Nothing was the same cause one was extremely good sound and place,the other bad sound and bad club....>(no oxygen at all lol,you know what i mean)
Thats why im not goin to trypes anymore.Whatever artist,whatever big event. |

Koxbox played here no longer than a month ago same with Belgrade,Astrix who is playing in Belgrade next week was here 2-3 weeks ago,Space Cat who played there for New Year was in Athens just ten days ago,same with Astral Projection,Wizzy Noise,DNA and so many other artists.
What names exactly play in the Balkans that dont play in Greece and especially in Athens?
Dear Alicia do you have a clue of what you are talking about sweetie?
Check the parties that took place in Greece just during December and compare them with the parties that took place all around Balkans during the same month,the difference is huge since every weekend we got 2-3 major events in our country both in Athens and Thesaloniki.
Azatis there are no big clubs available for psy trance in Athens we all just have to live with that,the owners of Luv and Fuzz and many more clubs dont even want to listen to the word trance.Its not that the promoters dont want to book those clubs,its just not possible for them,trust me i know what i am talking about.Even now though this summer events took place in the one of the best (if not the best) clubs in Greece the Kingdom Club (ex Summer Venue) because some people try hard to find nice places for parties.

I agree, you are right my friend detox... unfortunately the last years the situation with the clubs in athens is getting from worse to worst k pali kala na leme that city+ exists.... and i don't think that the promoters generally can do anything else more than that already they have done in order to host parties to bigger clubs....

It seems like we finally agree detox.That is what I was talking about.There are no parties in Athens as much as there used to be.(Remember +soda had a psy party every sunday?)THe pproblem is there are not anymore good clubs to host the parties and we go back to the police problem and how much they chase psy parties as if psy parties are the ones that destroy are society.Nobody went inside boyzoykia to check for drugs even though they are filled.It all has to do with the system in Greece.I am just jealous of the people in thesaloniki that have the chance to go to more parties.I leave to far frm salonica to travel just for a party.Anyway I hope things turn better and not worse as rime goes by. |

Detox i know what you mean...
Thats was one of the reasons i was there at Kingdom for the two events that held there.I knew that club wasnt a trypa and sound wasnt that bad. Nor volume or quality (even if on second party there was an "unlucky" situation with sound that i didnt expect but ok shits happens)
For example i went to Polytexnioupolh a week ago and i had far better time without extraordinary deco, or a well-known artist or AAA sound,Better than go to a trypa, that cant dance,cant breath or even pissed of with kagouro-situations.Not to mention the bad sound almost everytime.
I can understand that some will say,"better have parties than not have them at all". Maybe they are right.But i prefer not at all,than a bad one.
Im not trying to bash you or any other organizer,just telling what im seeing the last few years.If it was like 97-98 and ppl ask me to go for a party,it was like "Yes lets go" at once. Now it is like "Where is this event?" Thess,too far. "This one?" Trypa wont go there. "This one?" Bad sound and small place for such artist... And so on....
I wish i could had my own club. I swear a god i was thinking this so many times.AAA club for elecrtonica only. Its something that missing Athens nowdays,and a reason why so many ppl that love electronica stay at home every saturday... |

AAA club for electonica music... and how would you make money ? with 300ppl attending one event every saturday ? wake up... rave was a trend back in 2000 like minimal is now... quit crying about old times and stuff already... iam sick of it... every second post theres someone crying OMG BACK IN 2000 I... bleh...! |

And i really doubt if there was a nice club for electronica,would be like 300 ffs man...
Luv had far more every saturday and wasnt AAA club.Nor best Djs played there.What are you talking about?
Psy-trance NOW is a trend.You think back then was a trend? Naah dont think so,more than underground was back then.Look the massive worldwide events that helding now,look on TOP 100 Djs of the world where psy-trance artists are and then tell me about trends.
The event of kingdom,especially talamasca,wasnt like 300ppl,nor astrix + Mwnn at Luv where less than 1000.What are you talking about?Now if youre happy as it is now,its ok.Its your opinion.Let us have our though. |

Hey guys,
Sorry for involving into your section ( your area ); BUT this topic here http://forum.isratrance.com/criminal-organizers-beating-artist-and-crowd-not-a-joke/1-95863/ shows that sometimes isnt really safe to travel into these countries. Some organisers from Balkan ( especially from Serbia, Fyrom, Bulgaria ) are allways having trouble with the visitors there ( Just an example: David Morales played in Serbia some time ago / beeing payed for 3 hours all 100% in advance; when his manager step to the organisers ( like; hey David is tired and i think its time to quit ) they have told him to play till the next morning - and they put the gun on his head ) also parties from that / similar regions need to fix their sound, security and some other minor things which should be taken care of for a good party and artist hospitality. And some novitate shouldnt harm them ( maybe some money difference on the end / but they would get respect from the others ). Obviously they just dont take it seriously.
I love parties made by greek organisers and promotion groups. Really nice float on each party when i am seeing a results by reviews.
