I had to make this topic.
I know everyone had a moment like this.
Drug induced or not.
Its like a musical prison. |

I was, so changed most of the things including genre, computer, DAW and I'm happy since than.
Working on a few projects now, enjoying every second and inspiration is back

Hmm.. Well, yes, but there are easy ways to break the circle. i was trapped in a loop yesterday.
My key for breaking a loop would be to either tweak the pattern or make the sound build, and add tension so that you can create a break, matter of taste and genre, but a simple glitch in high intensity music is really effective.
For Progessive sounds you can add delay and fade the sound over a new sequence.
Uhm, also be careful, if you start to sense a loop-trap you should just do something about it, not let it roll, even more to do re-do if so.
sorry for my horrible feedback, but i hope you get the idéa. Its a pretty basic problem, and the solution is pretty basic as well.

I said I like it dirty, not muddy. |
