Yes it's a good question about smoking
i didn't notice any pb with that , lol !
when i create something , i do it like steps
i can't do something sure at the first session but it's like positive , create the Base and advance the samples , the creation sounds after .I m also agree with all that you can creat sounds stoned , but for the mixing , you ll be right
and for finish

occasionally i like "jamming" when stoned. kick/bass some percussion and then jam some synths ontop of that - patch creation etc..
everything else i need to have a clear head for.
