i bet you still play mp3, and comparing mp3 with 24 bits aint really harmonic is it?

...heheh back in 2004 yes, i started with mp3 web mixes wichest was played around da glob on web radios, as normaly web broadcasting bit rate max is 160kbps is no point do in wave....BUT i never played any mp3 on parties, as PA will show up high cuted freqs in really ugly way....anyway this is not da point...if u nice boy, i maybe teach u how to use Traktor properly and u will throu in the window your CD players and say tnx

hey guys how about some info on harmonic mixing actually, and yes done on cd decks.
exactly how does -.7 pitch down affects the dominant note of a song.
i dont want to play the whole set on the same note , but rather play scales with the tracks, try to make a big track of individual tracks.
i of course agree that changing pitch is not good for the track, so id at most pitch 1.4 updown or maybe just -.7
but when u pitch up or down -7 a track in which step or half step of the original note is the track now.
am i being coherent<<??
appreciate comments...on harmonic mixing if possible.

About 2-3 bpm change won't change the pitch in a noticable way, from what I remember. I don't have the exact numbers though.

would it be possible to check this with a sinewave played from a cdj and a nice instrument tuner?
