You can get a nice analog monosynth for that cash, or a cheap poly like the Juno 60 and maybe a Monopoly, MS-20.
If you want a good all around synth, you can get a Nord Modular/Lead.
Consider a Creamware system with a nice controller. I prefer the sound of the Creamware synths to the Virii.

Dull = not intresting like Nord Lead sound, IMHO.
anyway, nice music on your website, sound is dull

i admit, i don't go for top notch neo psy sounds in my projects for reasons, but calling my sound dull is kind of rude.
just think about it this way, i choose sounds that "I" want to hear in my tracks, and what other people would love to hear in it concerns me less. but that doesn't give anyone the right to justify them as dull or judge them.
i would appreciate your honest opinion about "my sound", only if i asked for it. but i have not. something to think about.

In your price range i'd go for a second hand novation nova , its a very versatile synth ,very nice for tweaking and yes i like the novation sound from the old classic bassstation to the newer models , cheers
