Check out Emagic Sounddiver..... I recently found this program and I find it invaluable at times. This is one of the best pieces of software emagic did, and it's a damn shame Apple didn't continue it.... Although the last version of Sound Diver really works for I believe all the hardware you were mentioning.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

if you are using cubase, logic or fruity then you can make virtual controllers inside your program.

you use cubase right?

don't remember what it's called in cubase i'm sure someone here can tell you or look in the help.

midi devices (q-base, nuendo).... pure fun.. make your own software interfaces for ye hardware synths (cc and sysex)...I controll my waldorf Q totally via midi devices.. (love the Q sound, but hate the hardware interface)
and if you combine the power of midi devices with a nord modular.... wooow 1000 different hardware synths each with there own software interface...
