whats some good hardware to make bass?

is it a combination of devices, like sound generator + amp effects?

i heard the studio electronics se1x is great for bass, its analogue sound with digital control. Wanted to score one of these... may do so when i have the dosh, put it all into label instead

usually is used nord lead or access virus,i have a c and i am preety happy,even if it sounds more plastik than the lead ;-)
