Hey people!
thanks for all ideas..
I find Line 6 Echo Pro very interesting, the Roland RE-201 space echo is very cool.. but both of them cost very much and seems to be rare?
iv been searching and finding lots of software Dub-delays, but i was asking for hardware cause i wanted to use it for live tweaking,
i dont know how to use software for live use in a cheap way(the way i thought to work anyway). Receptor(very expensive) or use a laptop with a plugin to load Vst FX on the input and stream the output to the mixer/porta, and live tweak with a midicontroller? Dunno might work but its too much of a hassle and expense.. and i would need to have cabels for every channel i wanted to rout.. so i would also need a soudcard with many I/O
ill do a list of cool Vst Dub delays i found in another thread..
but here i would like more ideas on not too expensive hardware delays that is suitable for making dub... all kinds of delays that has lots of cool functions that can be manipulated in realtime
or just hit me with something cool hehe
cheers

If you get a small hardware mixer you can run all the instruments to the mixer. Then set up an aux send (on the hardware mixer) to input to one or two stereo channels on your audio interface. Next you route back out to from your audio interface back into the mixer and this allows you to send a lot of instruments to one or two vst dub delays in your computer. Makes it much cheaper this way. ~Airyck~

Still plugging away at homework and general school stuff. I start my Communications Electronics Projects class next semester, which is when I'll start building some projects

Hey isratrancers!
Iv made my first live dub now, its 14mins long..
I used Cubase Sx3 and Zoom H2 to record to, it went true a Img stage line mixer. Zoon i will change my setup a little and bring my Yamaha an1x and my little mixer.. i will expand this setup later and bring more tools to it, but i take slow steps now... ill also bring in some kind of midi controller with lots of knobs and faders.
as i said before i found some nice Vst delays and soon ill make a thread with some of my favorite Vst for Live dubs...
in the future ill try and get some hardware FX units so i can run more tracks in the sequencer instead of having to save Cpu for FX and everything.
Now im not totaly happy with the outcome, of course bass needs to be tamed and refined, Lots of stuff gets stuck in the loop so i need to mute or fade out stuff to make better variation. Things needs to be prepared much better... so that everything is at hand when needed...
but this is the first step in my journey so mistakes are welcome just like ideas for everybody is welcome!
