This is my set from World Bridge at deerfields outside of Asheville, NC(thrown by Those People) I was asked to play dark psy, so I went with a slightly different interpretation and tried to make it tell an emotionally dark story. I used the “Requiem for a dream” soundtrack throughout and interspersed pop songs with vocals pertaining to the movies mental state at appropriate times. The mix starts off ecstatic and empowered and slowly declines into despair and insanity while touching on the love hate/slavery relationship with addiction.
