Hey girlses and boyses!
Back with another question, so i've been trying a bunch f different ways to process a kickdrum to obtain a kickdrum like this, i'd like mine to be a little bit more subtle though, this ine is a little too rude. but you know the drill
But mine is currently like this
https://soundcloud.com/li-fe/li-fe-colossus I generally dislike throwing my soundcloud around like that, sorry, but maybe you can by that, tell me how i need to modulate and ajust to obtain that sound.
I have added resonance and drive to my kickdrum, and the Keytrack, and all cutoff parametres are at top.
I use Sylenth1 for kickdrum synthesis too, yes. Sucker4Sylenth.

Forget about sample libraries, and make your own!
I believe your kick just needs a bit (more) distortion / saturation / bit crushing in order to get that result you showed.
Also, in the youtube example the bass is more distorted and much lower and muffled than your example.. this muffling on the bass could help bring out the effect on the kick. In your tune, the bass is more powerful, and there is only so much power available in the mix.
My personal opinion: I like your kick, your bass and your K+B combo a lot more than the example you showed.
