Hand tendon pain?

Hey recently I have been spending more time than usual producing, and have been doing some of it with the trackpad on my laptop. (As a result?) I have been getting pain on the back or my right (dominant) hand, seems like its in the tendons that go to my index and middle fingers.

Do you guys ever experience this type of thing? If so, solutions?           --

Hey, I used to have this happen all the time when I would use my trackpad. I even wore a brace on my hand sometimes but in the end I really think the best solution is to invest in a nice wireless mouse that you can take with you. I have one and it comes with a little tiny usb thing that barely sticks out so it can't really be bent or anything and when it's not in the computer, it fits inside of the mouse for convenient storage. You should check this out. As for other options, resting your hand every so often or even positioning yourself differently can seem to help me from time to time, though, like I said, I generally avoid the trackpad these days for this very reason.

Bad ergonomics can lead to this. In my experience it you don't force it it'll go away, but common sense it check it out with a doctor (a real one, not a Ph.D in drug consumption and distribution)

I usually use a boob or similar, like this http://www.dealextreme.com/p/sexy-style-wrist-rest-mouse-pad-114211

I don't take fish oil, as I really dislike fish. Shrimp is ok, though.           Super Banana Sauce http://www.soundcloud.com/knocz

check the position of your whole body too
maybe this placement leads you to have tension in the hand
also the trakcpad quality has to do with it
while ago i was working whit a shit windows laptop
with a troubleus trackpad, after 1 week of daw use i started notice the hand tendons feeling sore.
when i ditched it for a better quality trackpad the tendons back to their normal functioning           http://mystic-sound.com/releases/ioon-cosmic-downtempo-9314-oclock/

i take fish oil every day because i have a damaged back from a car crash but i dont think it does much to help it. maybe you need to chill out with the amount of time you spend producing ( i know how easy it is to spend hours and hours makeing music)

You end up using your fingers more than the wrist, i can edit super fast with it too.
