I need software that shows me the details of my hardware without opan the computer case.
I know one software that work with DOS but i cant remember the name of this software so if any body know any software that can halp thats will great.

in windows XP:
take the control panel, if you are not in classic mode (only ten icons), put it in classic mode (more then 25 icons), doubleclick system, take hardware, click on device manager, voila
in windows 2000: same thing, but control panel is always in classic mode
other windowses: device manager is on the first page of system, instead of in the hardware page |

if you have an asus mobo, you can download asus probe from they're website, and in the DMI explorer is all the information about all devices.
Look out, sometimes not all info is in there (especially older machines might not show all information), in that case you will have to open up the machine, write down the serial number. Just throwing the serial number into google is enough to find all there is to know about that piece of hardware |
