If FL6 u got the 3xOsc synth.
It is quite simple and a fast way to do a 'saw'-bassline with it. U know this typical fullon style bass.
Use only one of the three Osc, set the amp envelope everything to zero but decay to one beat. Change 'Fast LP' filter to 'LP' or 'LP2' and set its envelope like the amp envelope, put the cutoff very deep and use the envelope amount to open it when a note is played. U can play with the settings for different basses.

The envelope for the volume, if u need some more infos for how the 3xOsc works, just select it and press F1. The FL6 help can give u some very good explanations for it.

Now .. For the Fl program .. Lots of things was writen about , Good and bad . I think this program is an nice 1 for beginning . But you will feel the transition and the full gratification and satisfaction , Options & possibilitys on the ProTools , Logic and the Cubase .
