I have also a good idea for you,
Search for someone with a Bass Gutiar, Plug it in your sound card. Take one sample, and you'r Set!..
u can do what ever you like with it and make it however you like and its warm...
Besides that if u still insist for a VST/DXi search for
"DreamStation Dxi" if you have sharing program im sure you'll find it, or try in google or what ever
its a small sized nice synth(around2mb) that works either Standalone verion (Dxi) but also supports VST dlls which works good with Flstudio or even Cubase and Sonar. (it's not heavy at all)
There you could create your own bassline , or even play a bit with the presets and u should make your self a nice bass,
Other than that i think Sound Forge is the strongest tool for Synthesizing sounds. |

samples of bass guitar i cant get from anywhere..
but i need just a good VSTI of bass..
i have heard that V1 and Scorpion are very good!
but i cant find tham..
and even if i have a bass sample (guitar bass) it would be only one sample.. i cant use only one bass sound each time i create a track..! |

yeah
but you gonna have to EQ, compress, do-woteva-to-make-it-sound-better anyway which will prob change the sound.
Use VB1, Vanguard, Muon Tau
takes time to find the best sound tho here is an idea for compressing your Bass, it works fukn well on the VB1
By using compression, you can bring up the lows, and submerge the higher notes into the mix.
Often times, there is an initial "pluck" to the bass sound, and it can be more beneficial to let this sound slide through uncompressed.
Threshold: -4db to -9db
Ratio: 4:1 to 8:1
Attack: 3ms (if there is a plucking sound, use an attack closer to 7ms)
Release: 100ms on short bass sounds / 300ms on long bass tones
Knee: Hard
Gain: +2db to +4db

Vb1 ....
you dont even need compression....
this is the old skool basic SA method
Set the bridge right bak, set the middle knob to about 10 or so...
set the far left knob to 0, and put the volume at max...
that will give you a nice digital rough bass sound...
play it on C1,C2 or whatever in between
then stick R6 on it and cut at around 45 - 50 Hz High Pass and a low pass , at about 1k - 2k depending on sound yuo going for
shelf it at aout 75 to add some ommph...and you can low shelf it a bit at 500 or there about....again this is personal taste
the stick Quadrafuzz on the insert and dont even have to chnage the settings much on quadra
and there we go ...you should have a pretty pro sound bass right there without compression.

This is a newbie problem..(nothing bad with it)
you dont see whats infront of you casue you really dont know what you are looking for..
in FL you have 3 oscs, i heard great baselines made with it...
and if you read baseline thread after baseline thread here at isra you will find many good VSTI for bass..
the problem is that as a newbie you dont really believe that its as simple as it is... you twist and turn knobs that you dont have a clue about asnd you add FX that you dont have a clue about... if you dont reflect over what you do it will take alot of time before you learn...
remember to keep it basic till you learn.. otherwise you will just twist and turn in desperado..
i wont give any advice on settings, this is what you should learn your self... its the settings you make that makes it personal....
i heard lots of "pro" tracks with almost a clean Vb1.. it all depends on what you want to focus on in the track... baselines is sometimes over focused..
good luck and read the baselines threads and twist the knobs andd listen and learn what they do..

Freeflow,
i know that i need to synth the sound to create a good and nice bass sound
but i dont have any clue where to go and where to synth it.
if i had any clue, belive me i wouldnt be sitting here and asking for halp.
i know that somthing about the "fillters" and this shit, but i dont know where are thouse fillters are.. where to get into tham..
i have this vanguard VSTI and in his options you cant create a bass line, you just can change the sound not to synth it..

As FreeFlow Said, There's a 3XOsc Synth Plugin in FL
(Channels-Add-3x Osc)
Lower the oscillator's coarse (CRS nob) play with the rest, and evantually create the bass...
u can get nice bassline out of it , also if you combine with the volume/filter envelopes there.. |
