Halo, I am Dj wanting more names of artists making some music between trance and downtempo. I like paying downtempo sometimes at beginning of my sets, but want more music to bridge together when I switch to trance. I ask all for help- this is not my area of expertise.

You could do worse than check out the 13th Moon comp on Interchill (reviews further down the forum) - which was put together with this very purpose in mind. |

Also try the latest aba structure- faces of epiphany, its low intensity almost housey, 4 4 with vocals and violens over solid kicks...

my favourite for quite some time is the 4th track,i think it´s Human Blue on the Ease Division 1(Spiral Trax recs),very beautiful,anthemic track that u can really get lost in,excellent percussion.
the logic bomb track(prev.mntnd)is nice too but ends too quicly 4 my liking,there´s a lot of trance that can be slowed down on a deck 2 sound chunkier,funkier(e.g.trax from Shakta´s last cd) that always go down well at parties,it´s worth checking out a lot trance albums,always 1,2 downbeat ambo gems,2nd cd of Inf.Mush.nu 1 &
the nu album from Graham Wood(4get name of act-album) has some nice 1´s at the end
anyone else know some more? |
