While the faces of those listening to Progressive Trance already for a longer time might have turned into a surprised and maybe also pleased expression after reading the headline, newbies of this genre might not really know where to put it. But also the latter shall be assured: This one is gonna be special! For the original versions of the three tracks included in this Blue Tunes release can undoubtedly be described as historical classics of Progressive. The outrageously forcing bounce of “2nd Movement”, the twisted depths of “E.B.M”. and the smashy remix of Pink Floyd’s “One Of These Days” set milestones in the musical history of the scene at the beginning of the new century and represented the vast soundscape of the new style. The available 2010 editions set them to up-to-date standards and therefore include quite some potential to repeat the impact of the originals.
