We drove six hours to this party from Barcelona...leaving bleary eyed at 9 am on the sturday morning we made our way up through the beautiful south of France...the temperature steadily declining as we moved north to the Alpes and to Grenoble...the party was to start at 10pm...we got there at about 9.30 after checking out the gorgeous city of Grenoble...party unexpectedly as we need to find an internet cafe! Anyway having got the very clear maps and instructions to the party (thanks Nun!!!) we went on our way.
We came in very early and I was immeadiately bowled over by the size of Le Prisme more than anything...of course early on in the night there were a few people milling about and organisors just checking everything
was in order...
And it was...
We paid our 15 euros and were given a sound system to die for...really the sound was perfect not only for thevenue but also for the number of people who showed up (maybe 800/900 or more not too sure after munching some or other during the evening) but the quality was superb! The deco was all well hung and suitably psychedelic...fantastic light show...and really good... fantastic visuals too...the people a blast..not just french...we met other spanish, italians portuguese...
The music...we started with SANGOHAN who gave us some ambient stuff followed by gentle trance to get those people wiggling... melodic is not my favorite type of stuff but he came out with tracks like Black and White's "Myladylay" so it kept me interested..then we had FOG - Looney Moon - It. this guy as you see hailing from Italy... and we really stepped up a gear here...he rocked...great style and killer tunes...this guy will or is going places...
next up (the reason for going for me)Corrective (live) Dan and Nick had come over from the Uk,treated like royalty they said, and then gave Hadra their money's worth and more... Error Corrective if you don't know who they are, you should, their psychedelic hard hitting sound is fresh and original and the dancefloor was packed after they dropped their first belter! Wonderful...and on that rig....Itwas special...
Next to take a turn on the wheels of steel was Hadra's own Leptit...he showed us why these guys make such good parties...the music was driving as it was psychedelic...this guy can play..he changed the style from Error Corrective but kept the whole thing moving along...excellent set...
The Dynamic...while his set was marred by some technical problems HE HAD (I won't drag Hadra into that!) the music was everything the crowd were looking for... again melody is not my thing so I wasn't grooving as hard as everyone else...but one cannot fault his production...and like I said the rig!! Anyway we had to go after Dynamic so I can't comment musically on how the night progressed but I am confident it offered the same level of quality as we had seen....
We spent about an hour driving around the local area trying to leave, crying we were laughing so much, the party was well worth the 1200kms and no end of expense with regards food, petrol, road tolls (shit what do they spend that money on! there must be massive reserves somewhere becasue I didn't see any evidence of investment even though we were fleeced every 5kms!) Anyway happy and tired we rolled into Barcelona at about 4pm sunday... a wicked weekend!
Perhaps a chill out next time...although to be honest the trance was that good it might be a shame to dilute it!
Also if anyone is in possesion of my passport it would be great to get hold of it...I think I handed it out with a flyer... let me know..thank you...

shit bollox i don't need to read reports such as this (hell i knew it would be killer but no need to rub it in!!).
was feeling rough and couldn't handle the 4 hour train ride so i stayed at home and sulked 
really glad to hear it was a killer, hope to get to a Hadra some time...all i hear is good things!!

yup it rocked...4 hour train ride would be nothing for the experience they give you!! make an effort next time you won't be dissapointed |

hi there!!
thanks for your report, it's always nice to have people coming from "far" for our party... and i'll tell our soundman what you think about the system 
you saw the portuguese and the italians but did you met the english?? 
i'm happy you enjoyed your week end in france
there was no chill out because it's very hard to find places in france with at least 2 rooms and that doesn't cost thousands ....
