Well these kind of things exist even before Minority Report movie, these sensitive screens used in Palms, PDAs and rest of such devices. The only problems with it are cost. As we know our body skin have oil in it, this oil totaly destroys these devices after some time, you these should be cleaned each usage time. Thats why Palms and other devices comes with pressing sticks and not fingers, to be hinest to use mouse and keyboard much more efficient and faster rather stick or fingers.
I think brain wave technology would be much more efficient, but it is another movie which is far from being reality in near future, Johnny Mnemonic is the name. |

Well, what you said is true. Something like this already existed before but this is different.
This project use multi touch (without the stick, can be used with more people and so you can control more things in one time; thing that you can't do with tablets and pdas). In the future it will recognize the fingers too to make great applications.
Anyway the abstract art part is amazing and the synth too (imagine having a studio like that  )

Loll I got a Palm Top for years but this is A BIT diferent no??? Years away technology...
And the palm top doesn´t come with a pen because of the grease of our fingers but due to its size.
For example the Mackie DXB comes with touch screens each having a minimum estimated life of 35 million pokes.....
And its not just about touchscreen but also how you work with it...look at the guy when he he´s sorting out pictures...I don´t believe you could have that freedom and speed with a mouse or keyboard...
Lol, just wanted to express my opinion, I just think this got nothing to do with a palm lol  |
