it looks pretty good! I use microtonic sometimes for drum synthesis, pretty good to be able to create exactly the sound theat fits perfectly into the mix           http://www.reverbnation.com/thecontrolzeds

The best thing about using it, is training my ear and identifying the important frequency ranges that make a kick drum sound the way it does. Although I am always learning, I think I am getting close to making my own library of good sounding kick drums. I am a bit anal about using other people's sounds (for the main stuff anyhow) and even though the average punter does not care, or even notices the difference, the creation process of my own custom sounds, adds to the fun aspect of making tunes not mentioning my personal satisfaction knowing that every single kick drum (as well as bass and leads) in my tunes, is something I have made from scratch.

I have an electribe the ER-1 wich i love but unfortunately i cant use in realtime, theres some sync issue wich i ahev no idea hpw to solve.First i thought it was and issue with live, recently i tried with cubase and theres the same problem. I use my 410 soundcard as midi interface, i was told that could be the problem.

i use saffire le as midi interface and ther is the same problem with er-1! i think its an problem with the er-1!

indeed, i had an er-1 a long time ago and was never able to sync it up...

a good groovebox/drum maschine i have incorporated in my setup is NI Maschine.

hey Phasmatix I have a similar problem. That was also my first question here in this forum at all I think. And still unssolved..
I have electribe sx and I very like it for the lfos and some nice tings.Id so like to connect it to cubase sx and to edit it via cubase. But I dont know why. After one year still I only bounce. And it should work somehow but thats not enuff what I know to get it working.Maybe someone culd explain it friendly.I am not that talented in all that technics connections.I just wanna have a bigger fun.Thats it.
For instance Id like to change at once the drum to mono in cubase wich would be essential and for sure sth else than bazzism for instance.
I get it synced with a project so far.But I dont see a track in cubase...
And this is what is for me intersting to edit the gates more decently and of course plenty plenty many more intersting tings.
