You can use the Groove-quantize feature in Cubase, sampled grooves or breakbeats, 'swing'-features in arpeggiators or sequencers.

hello yogi,

well, add delay with feedback and play with the settings also add reverb to add some space- again play with the settings to find the right sound 4u,

also make sure your percussion is cutted well at start and end points- and compress percussion groups together-

and don't use only hihats, snares and kick- add shakers, rimshot, rides, tambourines, congas, bongos etc etc etc. spread them at 1/4th, 1/8th, 1/16th, 1/32th etc.

and just keep practice- you will make the right groove,

Get yourself a hand drum (doesn't have to be anything super-fancy) and learn to play it. Heck, play by slapping your knees if you're hard up for money.

Nothing will make the 'groove' clearer than learning to play by hand.

fuzzikitten is right..
get some drums and play it, after you drum a little you'll understand the groove alot better.

I have no idea what you mean. Try to explain yourself better?

i want to make that kind of patterns like the ones that juvenile and gms do before the leads come.it´s not the perc they paly with the sinths and make the groove.like some notes playng around making the groove along with the perc and bassline.the sounds that make the track flow until de lead comes.sounds like fxs,not real melodies only sounds palyng around and making the groove.
