Can heartily recommend these effects people.
They are the result of twenty years of research into experimental music and can produce some phucking loony tune sounds . They include :
delays : (1 plugin up to 30 delays at the same time each doing weird things)
freeze : freeze time of a bit of music then perform unspeakable mischief upon it
Pitch accumulator : dont know what it the hell it does but it sounds ridiculous
and many more :

I think you can get a demo there ^^^^ |

Yeah GRM tools rock.
I quite sure Prometheus used them on his robot-o-chan album.
Sometimes i just create a whole session dedicated to sound design, crack open the GRM's and i'm off!
Combining 2 GRM'S such as delay and doppler can create some startling fx.
Proper bo as one might say. |

Oh and the band pass filter is fantastic as well.
But you might not want to try it as it may be too old? |

what is pluggo ???
They are not so old and piss all over any other plugis because they allow you to do really weird things without relying on presets.
Still if you know of a plugin that allows you to have the same control that is experimental to the same degree id like to know what it is.
GRM is not steiberg or anyold plugin production manufaturer, they were set up specifically to research experimental sounds, I tell you theres nothing else like them around, even most granular synths looks like nursery school next to them. |

Sorry i didnt want to sound harsh.
What i meant is that they have been out for a while now (1st time i used them was probably 4 years ago) and therefore they are not as experimental nowdays as they used to be back in time.
About Pluggo:
Check the cycling74 website.
Keyop:
A band pass filter is a band pass filter.
And your sarcasm is not that clever really. |

Ok fair enough. ive been getting to grips with max msp over the last three years, it can get a bit fiddly but worth the extra work and sure as hell beats super collider. i hadnt heard of pluggo though, not that looks like fun ! Cheers for the word up (=; |

koalakube, i have a few band pass filter plug ins and the grm definatley seems to work better than the others i have. Therefore i would say for the music i write, this works really well, especially with kick drums.
A band pass is just a band pass?
Next you'll be telling me a synth is just a synth.....

Its a matter of opinion.
A band pass filter is a band pass filter, yes.GRM's one may be ok for you,in certain sitautions (i.e. as u mention kickdrums).TIt may not be usefull in other situation.
And a synth is a synth, yes,it depends for what u gonna use it and how good you are at programming it.
Keep ya sarcasm home m8,kinda annoying. |

my question about grm delays is: can they be synced to your bpm?
