I heard this Rave was a realy nice one!
by the pictures, i can see not many pepole came to digg it up.. but it seems beautiful by the decoration & smiles 
can someone tell how many pepole were there?
any more pics will be cool too.
Keep up the scene in Thailand!

New Years Eve in Thailand
Greenspirit Festival (Thailand) Imagine spending New Years Eve in
beautiful Thailand not far from the beach, dancing with an international
crowd for three days ｭ thatｹs Greenspirit Festival near Ao Nang in Krabi
province. The party with its relaxed crowd was THE place to escape from the
usual madness in Koh Phanganｹs Haadrin beach. Many came only for the
festival or hopped over from Phangan or other places in Asia. For some of
the 2000 dancers it was the first trance party ever and they surely got
infected.
Organizer Stephan, an expat from Switzerland living in Thailand with his
wife Wanna for 18 years now, put lots of effort in presenting one of the big
New Year psy events. After the tsunami last year the party couldnｹt take
place - but it will happen again 2006, Stephan promised, though Greenspirit
didnｹt cover all expenses this time. The beautifully decorated string-art
main floor with central backdrop on stage by Amrisha was located in a shady
rubber tree garden, surrounded by dense jungle. Someone got bitten by a
snake near the camping ground close to the dance floor but wasnｹt injured
seriously as far as we know. Lots of people preferred to stay in guest
houses near the party instead of building up a tent.
Unfortunately climate change showed its effects also in Thailand - heavy
rain turned the dance floor into a mud bath in the first night, but a load
of sand Stephan was able to order saved the floor. The live-acts and DJs
really enjoyed to play on a great sound system. Matan and Paul Taylor did
uplifting and heart-opening sets. Shivajoerg rocked the floor to a sweating
mass of half-naked mostly beautiful bodies. My personal fav was Azax
Syndromｹs hard-rocking set in the second night. Also Gataka, Scotty and
Sabaii Sabaii kicked the floor. The party ended on January 1st in harmony,
Stephan likes to thank everybody who helped cleaning the area! If youｹre
heading for Southeast Asia next winter, start at Greenspirit and continue
visiting the great islands around Krabi before you head further!
Vor allem Deutsche, Schweizer und viele Israelis aus Koh Phangan waren
gekommen, um Silvester bei 30 Grad in Sdthailand zu feiern. Drei Tage
Greenspirit in einem schnen, schattigen Gummibaum-W舁dchen wenige Kilometer
vom Strand entfernt - optimal, wenn man dem Silvesterwahnsinn in Koh Phangan
entkommen will. Veranstalter Stephan, der seit 18 Jahren in Thailand lebt
und erst dort mit dem Psytrance-Virus in Kontakt kam, hatte das Festival
liebevoll vorbereitet, das vor einem Jahr wegen des Tsunamis abgesagt worden
war.
Der ganze Mainfloor war mit Fadenkunst bespannt, das Blanket von Amrisha auf
dem DJ-Desk ein wahrer Augenschmaus. Regen in der ersten Nacht verwandelte
den Floor leider in ein Schlammfeld, aber Stephan und sein Partner Michel
organisierten eine trocknende Ladung Sand. 2000 Fraggles erfreuten sich auch
am berraschend guten Soundsystem fr den Riesen-Dancefloor, auf den locker
noch einmal 2000 gepasst h舩ten. Greenspirit ist jedenfalls DIE Party um
eine Tour durch Sdostasien zu starten. Trotz leichter finanzieller Verluste
soll es dieses Jahr wieder stattfinden.. Nicht vergessen, all die
traumhaften Inseln rund um Krabi zu besuchen! Tom Rom pics Taxy
