it appears that we do like it when looking at the parties and it also appears to be growing

Well from what i see in both Athens and Thesaloniki not many so called 'dark psy' artists visit our country.Do you have any examples proving the opposite?Actually i think that the last 'dark psy' party took place in Greece with a foreign artist before 7-8 months in the summer time...

Anyway me i dont like this music and to be honest i dont think that it can grow to big even though its small audience is highly dedicated.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

too bad for the scene???
thats the only thing u hv to say?
i'm sorry but i accept all musics, i 'promote'/make dark one, and i'm not any kanguras, it has to do with what i like, SOUNDS i like...
i may also like dark dub for ex, and maybe i dt like so much full on and progressive stuff but i will listen and pay attention...
the dark branch is new, and the commercial part of it maybe begins now...
the biggest act was maybe Parasense for ex, and i remember NR 6 full ...

and what shall i hear? remixes of sweet dreams by Psaras? thats not psy thats more electro...
or latest infected's mushroom gigs singing>?
no thx respect but ok not for me, and not psy way

and too much full on too much full on

and stop saying its degrading our national scene. This country itself degraded it

well i think it's more of an age thing! Young people usually like it faster and noisier. Haven't been to any such events and to be honest haven't heard any tracks either so i can only judge by the comments and attitudes i come across, mostly in this forum.

However i dont thing that a bunch of kids loosing the plot for a while can be a major problem for what we call psy-scene, i would think that they are only dangerous to themselves.

I guess they will grow out of it just as we grew out of earlier stuff we used to listen which also sounded incomprehensible to most people around.

That said, music is music and there may be people who are into it because they find something creative and original in dark-psy. And that's fine with me.

Fair enough. So I seem to be getting the wrong idea then. Interesting that you say that kangoures like this stuff Helios...I'm not surprised...just thought they'd be extinct by now.

there is an interesting post at the russian forum :
http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/33765/forum/13
explaining why so much dark music comes from this country...it connects this fact with the general economical, political conditions in Russia, the psychology of the people and the climate there....

If thats true, then thats a good explanation why we dont have so many dark greek projects, it just doesnt suit to our country.....

It's just a Sub-Genre of Trance, what's the big deal ? There's proggy, there's full-on, there's minimal, there is melodic (and not morning, melodies can be listened to during the night as well...), so many to choose from. The clue is to pick the best from the basket, and mix it all together! Being stuck and narrow minded with music is what's wrong. I can't take an hour of "dark", but I don't mind for a couple of tracks when its suitable. Same goes for everything.

I personally like and also spin dark. I think it is interesting music with a certain intensity deriving in many cases from drug use. But to me it is interesting music also without drugs. And I think many people who are into it do not use drugs. It is moody music nontheless and this isn't many people's cup of tsai anyways.

who r you?who do u represent friend noizbox?remember that your trance is my trance and your scene is my scene and that's the trance culture.you've got it all wrong.anyway Dark is another sub-genre of trance and many ppl like it and like the other ones they r the goods and the bads. a bunch of ppl seems to enjoy it much(me also) and you just have to live with that
also don't compare russia with greece because when we had parties they only knew the communist party(no offence friends)

As for the satanic trend you reffered to I am also against it pretty much but there r only a bunch of grafikoi doing those things and nobody seem to take them seriously. But if you c anything that u dislike share it with us so all together may try to prevent b@@lshit like that to b established!
respect
ps.I LovE PaRaSensE

to all the guys out there.keep up the good work!

i'm trying to protect what feeds my mind a decade now..we have enough problems and for sure we don't need more..remember what happened with the media some years ago? So,if u really loved our scene and music u should be the first to protest against this,as being a ''dark psy'' fun...instead of that u only thing that these guys are grafikoi and if u don't take them seriously, somebody else will and then it will be too late
cheers
