kala stefanako, you know the killer djs, you know the killer artists, u and your friends represent the "true" underground...i am curious, how do u define underground?
is it about less wide exposure of the music to the people and its promotion or is it solely about the money?
...anywayzzz i will not argue with you...it is very subjective and depends on personal taste...as much as what is considered psychedelic and what is not...

If a word has totally lost its meaning on the dance scene then this word must be the word DJ which you use next to your nickname,by the way since when putting the word DJ next to your nickname in a forum is Underground?

Sorry my friend but this sounds like Elitism to me rather than Underground.Psy Trance as a whole is an Underground Music simply because no more than 50.000 people listen to it on worldwide scale (and i mean to really listen to it no just to know what it is or have heard couple of tunes by GMS and Skazi),so calling you and your friends as 'killer djs' and 'killer and underground artists' sounds like Elitism to me (thats the most polite word i can use) and doesnt reflect reality at all.
Like i have said in the past,for me the word Underground today is used by people that just cannot do anything good and enter the 'mainstream market' (if there is such a thing in psy trance),either these people are persons that call themself dj's without having a clue how to mix,or people that call themself as underground artists by producing some noises on some old cubase version or even fruity loops which they enjoy with their very close friends (who are also ofcourse killer and underground artists and dj's) and name themself as the true underground trance people of Greece or Israel or Portugal or whatever.
So please stop using the word Underground cause it sounds as funny to my ears as the word DJ used next to the half nicknames of the forum 
Thanks a lot and no intention to insult anyone here,just stating the facts the way i see and understand them.

my friend dont apologise using the term disc jokey is an honor ,its not showing off,to write some spots, greek artist mite be not saw interational known like other countries, but greek parties have been playing good music from 1990 ,trance to psy, some greek djs want to be known some dont , playing your music for 20 people to 5000 is great but ,its not about reputation for me it is about power to give to people that lisen in the party you play in , spreading good karma , somthing very rare in this world , i say lots of djs in greece dont need reputation , they are realy good djs |

Besides the drums, they sampled analog synths and then used Reason's sampler to play the samples back. I can sample an Arp 2600 with my sampler, does that mean my sampler makes as good sounds as the Arp modular?
Anyway, you seem to fit the whole consumer profile which Propellerheads' marketing executives aim at, perfectly, so go buy your a copy of Reason 3 to MaKe kiiilllllaaaaaa tRaXx LiKe InFeCtEd MuShRoOm!
Anyway, to stay on topic, Unison is another greek band, but they are "undergrounistes", because they only have a release on Etnicanet and one on Harmonia records and besides, their tunes are shit and only their closest friends like to play them

Dear Stefun 99,99% of the music ever produced on this planet never reaches any chart so this fact makes all this music underground?Sorry but without trying to offend you at all (i dont even know you my friend) i think you must spend some time and understand the meaning of the word underground.To help you out i will say to you that someone can produce very commercial music (in terms of sales) but still be underground,i mean think of an artist like Brian Eno,the guy was one of the people that invented and developed ambient music back in 1970 but very very few people know him though he has sold hundrends of thousands of cd's through the years and has hardcore fans all over the world,he releases his music through Virgin (which is a very commercial company and label) but still like i said before though he sells a lot he is considered as an underground artist with a very underground profile also.And if you want to see the opposite side then watch Jean Michel Jarre who started making music almost at the same time with Brian Eno but gained much bigger exposure (and probably sales) just because he chose not to be underground but rather become more popular and famous.So to sum it up selling a lot doesnt mean you are not underground but also not selling at all doesnt mean you are underground.

Also whether a music is appropriate for a club or a mountain or a small party or a festival is something that depends on one's taste actually,i mean for me Etnica's music is the best for outdoors while you might think that Etnica suck and that you prefer music from artists like Derango or GOW or i dont know who else.

No i dont make music and i have no great audio production knowledge like i said to you in private,i have some ideas that i pass on to friends who find them really interesting but i no i cant produce any music.In any case i dont think that even if i produced music there was a way to find out who is the best producer by putting our tracks online and let people vote for them,i mean i could make a track where i fart and burp inside it and post it online and get 5000 votes for it simply because i got many online friends (more than you i guess) who would vote for me just to support me,this would mean that i am a better producer than you are?Sorry but i doubt so
By the way i never said that you are not a good producer,i havent even heard any of your music just for your info

mr stefan i do not play trance music anymore and u know that, only chill...sometimes it is better to play for the trees u as a true spiritual underground goa person should be able to feel it in the air i guess
back to artists conversation....there is no underground in this scene....because simply the whole scene is underground with very few exceptions e.g. infected mushroom, astral projection..if there ever was a strong underground, one should look (mainly) in the past and towards australia and finland...people who are considered by some people now as underground artists are the same people that request a whole lot more money than well known progressive artists to play at parties/festivals and also when selling their music to labels...not all of course but this applies to the majority...so some people may feel well by thinking and promoting that they are part of something underground but how realistic is this? not much if u ask me....
