Divine EP on Tribal Vision reunites 2 of progressive’s biggest names - Sonic Cube and Greed, for what will no doubt be on the hits of the Spring Season.
Tobi Wirz was an original member of Sonic Cube, until he left the group to pursue his successful solo career as Greed and his label imprint- SOG Records. Since his departure, both Greed and Sonic Cube have released successful albums, on ACDC and Tribal Vision respectively. The material on the Divine EP is a departure from the music of both albums- favouring instead lashings of minimal techno, electro and tech-house.
Divine is a solid electro-house groover- catchy, funky, sexy and very accessable- this is the sound of 2006. On the flip, Wilde moves into more tech-house/minimal techno territory- its solid grooves and fat bass will please those looking for a sound that is a little deeper. Also featured is Sonic Cube vs Greed’s interpretation of POTS’s Trance Popper - taken from Social Success Remixes CD.
A solid release from Tribal Vision that will please a broad range of crowds - Divine EP is a must for any DJ crate this spring.
