hehe people here just love listing albums whatever the topic is..... I agree with a lot of the stuff mentioned but there is a lot more and not to discourage you but going through this much music properly and keeping up with the new stuff is not gonna be easy, I still find some releases from long ago that I havent come across before but are really really good....my advice just listento what you like without worrying about which album 'changed the genre' good albums will just naturally reveal themselves. a better and easier question to ask would have been which albums have been great since 2006...thats when the downfall had set in and we were contemplating suicide for lack of quality and began our journey into psytrash and psycrap...and you come up here ask which were the greatest album post 2006...i think you have a lot of soul searching to do

there was a bunch of crap back then too. i remember going through stacks and stacks of vinyl and liking maybe 1 in 5 releases.
