I'm wondering if there is an excellent softsynth to make these sharp highpassed razor leads whichj are used a lot in (russian) psytrance (kindzadza/furious/osom/highko/cosmo)..
I have been using a lot off Albino for making these, but after using it for some time I'm not really satisfied with the sound quality of it for these type of sounds.. (example: http://www.electrobel.be/muzik/20085/Hyper_Crisis)
I know they are made a lot with virus or nordlead, but I don't have money for these now , so I was wondering how do you make these with with good VST's.. I tried making them with Massive because the global sound is way better than Albino, but the FM possibilities are not as good as in Albino..
Anyone know a good way to make these veeeeery clean and powerful??
Thx in advance,
Phazur

discovery is great , albino is good too
if you using FL then TS404 makes some of those too
and u can "wet" a sound with extreme fast LFO , on vanguard it works allright too.
if you want pm me for individual nord samples that can do all that throu sampler (more denish style then russian heheh)

thx for the comments!
I have FM8, but didn't find a suitable way to make the sound.. I will try discovery cuz that seems nice
and indeed with a fast lfo on pitch you can make something ressemblant but it always sound a tad too dirty when I do it that way |

Generaly speaking, as I am not into the music of the artists mentioned, the Nord Lead leaves the Virus standing when it comes to them classic FM resonant ripping high pass leads.
Anyhow for me, Jupiter 8/6 saw/square waveforms>resonant high pass filter>overdrive=winner.

the rule is always the same from all synths... Maximum LFO linked to Filter and bandpass...discovery is the better choice to make them...play with FM Amount ..
