Can you recommend any sample library (or synth) that has a lot of psychedelic sounds. Now I mean mostly the sounds without definite pitch like all kind of modulations, noise uplifts, stereo field playing, flying UFO:s, stars, etcetc...
I am too lazy to synthesize everything by myself , so it would be nice to get some library with a lot of this kind of sounds and also a clear hierarchy so that it is easy to find, something like:
- raising modulations
- lowering modulations
- flying UFO:s
- lsd bubbles
- psychedelic noise
- psy-reverses
- psy-crashes
I have many synths with these sounds but not in a hierarchy and it is difficult to find them.

That just made me angry.
Spend some time learning how to synthesize those sounds, and eventually it will be quicker and better than browsing endless presets and samples.

Don't understand why anybody would deliberately come here and beg "Please, flame me!" |

Take Albino for example, hit the generator button a million times, and I'm sure you'll end up with a few hundred usable Psychedelic sounds. |

No matter how hard you look, and no matter how many preset packs you download...you will not find what you are looking for.
The only way to acquire what you want is to make.it.yourself - lazy psy is easily noticeable, and even more easily forgotten. Don't be a lazy douche.
If you use Ableton, it is very easy to start your own folders full of presets. learn to love your macros and racks.
Now, that being said....I highly reccomend Omnisphere. Its sample library is epic, it has OODLES of great patches, its visual representation of modulation is fucking awesome and in general its the synth that I am most impressed with. If you like preset browsing, you will adore this synth.
But yes, you need to not be lazy! Creating your own patches not only sounds better but it teaches you more and sends you that much further down the rabbit hole that is sound design.
If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe
