sometimes I'll make a drumloop using the Thomas Penton samples and then turn them into a REX file then reload it into stylus rmx... I know it's a lot of a steps, but it can do a lot of fun stuff..

909
realy
their open hihat is hard to compete with
their snare+clap together u can make anything possible
their kick even is pritty amazing , altho its not as powerfull as today fullon kicks its way more trippy and fun for long listen and not 2 minutes wow blow my head i go to sleep
but its quite generic i dont know..
there is sample cd called "66 drum machines" or something like this , it has some nice samples there , but probably i have to join "vengeance" reccomend , since i do use those alot (i think they made out of 909 , partialy for sure) www.sattelbattle.com

Yes, 909 drums are great but my 909 samples don't have great quality.
Anyway last week I find my very old 909 & 808 sample cd from Akai. They are have very good quality
I will try Thomas Penton sample cd & Best Service Drums Overkill.
I don't like Vengeance. Vengeance sound is strange for me
