So far only Dark Soho has impressed me... S.U.N Project sound like a cheap shot of NWOBHM, the riffs aren't really that memorable for proper rock/metal fans... are there any others like Dark Soho?

Can really see how lots of the Cosmo style glitch trance would work well with Fear Factory style riffing...           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

The old sun project rocked alot more than dark soho. Although both have really good tracks. The newer sp isnt that good so maybe you should check out the first two albums.           soundcloud.com/supergroover

might not be exactly what you're looking for, but since you seem like such a metal fan i figured i'd post up this little bit of blatant self-promo.

Try this one:
Sinister Association - The Monster Has No Tooth
Released on VA Force / Shiva Space Japan 2002

It's 160+bpm, not so psy, but provides SO much energy! Listen the track! I am not a fan on guitar tracks, but this one rox big time!

As far as I know your taste of heavy guitars,I think there is nothing outthere combined with psytrance.Would be interesting.
One of those things that havent been done so far in psytrance.
I heard once something very heavy a remix from someone from uk over a very heavy jazz gutiarist, not that known but very high level skilled. But it was more about unlimited scales and heavy speed a bit with fuzz sometimes and delays and oldskool warped powers sorta interesting not eazy listening though hehe. And very powerfull psytrance beat with very quality psychedelic.Indeed psytrance of another kind. But I lost contact to the source of the demo.Anyways, people always that all has been done but like this there exist unlimited of ways to sth new.

mmmm I used to play heavy guitar for a friend who made heavy industrial drum n bass/dark step style stuff and it went well...

I'm thinking of picking the guitar up again to see if it would work with some of the glitchy psy I"m working on... also think that some power metal style guitar would work well with Principles of Flight style...           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

The only person to use the guitar as an instrument and not as an effect has been Tim Shuldt. This applies to all his releases. Nobody has even come close.
