In an effort to try to save time of sifting through various drumkits or drum samples I was hoping someone could give a good recomendation for a good drumkit or a package of good drum samples. I make my kick with Operator, so I'm mostly looking for samples of hihats, crashes, snares, etc. The few kits I've messed with just don't produce the sound I'm looking for so I figured I'd ask you guys. Thanks in advance!

hmm...i mostly use "vengeance essential club sounds" and "synthetic drums"...
in the first one you'll find more "standard" samples (but often quite useful for small stuff) while the second one has more crazy stuff...
hope this helps |

the Name Thomas Penton - Essential Drums & Percussion sounds better to me than "vengeance". I prefer love in my music

I have both, Vengeance samples are more "processed" than the Thomas Penton ones, but they both have their uses and are both good.

+1
thomas penton is good for one shot samples, vengeance is great for layering two or three loops over each other and then slicing, reversing, adding fx etc to make your own groove...
