hey guys wanted to knw about albums in psychedelic trance which you think is really well mastered ?? i am not worried abt the tracks hw good they.. are i am just talking about the whole album mastering

undoubtedly some of the best mastered cds !!!
also there are tons of really pathetic mastering cds out dere.... wouldnt like to mention names here...

this is probably of the best masters around for edm, only by checking the labels

but id better check for great mixed tracks (nuance/balance/tightness/coherence etc),
find no point at all on what you ask, since you dont have access to the un-mastered track,
you have to be a trained and with experience mastering engineer to understand if the specific mastering is good imho and not by listening in bedrooms but in a treated place with good balance etc .. m2c

I think there are alot of very good mastered albums in the whole psytrance genre.
Personaly I like very much Cosmosis,Laughing Buddha,Xenomorph,X-dream etc,or the soundblaster Cosma works.Very breathy and dynamic with a clear punch.

Although not very fond of their stuff lately and althought a bit different than psy tunes, Infected Mushroom's productions amaze me of their quality. Lately I heard (and liked his production quality mostly)the latest album by Onyx, which if I'm not mistaken was mastered at the Domestic Studios...

tbh for me it s long time i haven t heard something that i really like ,when it s well balanced and well mixed then it s often too loud and the loss of dynamics really sux...don t want to say my production is better i m not happy with it at all... i think it s just the 145 bpm or more ,same low bassline note kbbb make it almost impossible to get a really pleasant sound, seems like it s against the law of physics or it really need lot of work |

KoxBox - U Turn --- Mastered @ Henry Sonic Vista Mastering Studio
In my opinion this album is quite a difficult one to master given the very phat kick and deep bass that Frankie uses. The mastering for this album is almost perfect giving the listeners clear sounds in the background including a very phat kick n bass.
Also, Cosmosis - FFTFF - the whole album sounds phat.
Talpa's second album is very well mastered
Ace Ventura's albums are really well mastered
Infected Mushroom ofcourse - very crisp n phat
Maybe I have a different view on how the final tune should sound after mastering but I love tunes where the bass and kick are quite distinctive and they do not compromise the high end sounds.
IMO most psytrance tunes now a days have a decent enough mix that doesnt need much work in terms of final mastering. What upsets me is that mastering experts / engineers take it for granted and do a lazy job on the final product.....

after listening some noisia tunes it s hard to find some fullon well mixed (it s not about mastering)... just was i was talking earlier, fast tempo kbbb bassline on one low note is just not possible to get a fucking huge sounds or maybe need lot lot of work (i think it s a reason why lot of dark psy don t sound that great well mastered or not) |

Eskimo, infected, cosmosis, astrix, d-nox & beckers, gms, most of the big names have a perfect mastering but without the perfect mixdown that guys make theres no perfect mastering...when a perfect mixdown is ready the engineer hasnt to do so mush work |
