well, what can i say? this was NOT one of the best evenings in the history of trance parties...
some of you may rebuke and contest to the notion that "hey, at least they were trying". no. they didnt even feign an attempt.

lets start off -
location - 20 minutes south of tel aviv, in a nice quiet, distant village. so far, so good.
arriving - not many holes in the ground, ppl could virtually drive up to the party (or near it).
party itself - set in the middle of a field, filled with hay, rocks and Ants (found some in my pockets and in my bag...). there was a shader spread out and some very unique painting.
Sound System - ......
well, I'll elaborate on this one: the organizers brought 4 turbo sound speakers, which should make for a pretty fair sound, over all. the only problem is, they used a 3.5k Power Generator (which was so close you could hear it) for both the sound system and the uv lights, and for a big spot light. as you can guess, the sound kept failing because of that. if the sound man who hooked this up knew what he was doing, we wouldn't have so many troubles, and the music wouldnt have stopped all the time. on the other hand, there was no one there to handle all of those sound failiures. the DJ's themselves had to deal with that, amidst set. besides that fact, the sound was terribally low. me and Molecular stood next to 2 of the speakers and spoke 2 each other in a relatively Low voice to be heard...
DJ's and Sets - well, opening the night was dalit, Zoo-b's ex gf, whose set we managed to enjoy. very minimal, very crunchy nightish stuff. next up was nasser, in a debut set of 1 hour. had it not been to all the sound failiures, nasser's set could not have been better (for a first timer, he did great!). on came Gula K, with a whopping 3 hour warm-them-up-to-the-morning set, some really gratifying mixes and musical choice, which made the crowd happy, inspite and despite all the misshaps. next up came molecular who rocked the joint with some aggressive-proggressive morning tunes, setting the ground for cocamid, whose set i didnt stick around to listen to.
crowd - a good mix, some VERY beautiful ppl, some of our 'friends'. who were actually quite charming, none abusive and pretty docile. at the peak it was about 150 ppl Onfloor. by morning hours it was closer to 30-40.

on a personal note - this was one of the most Amaturish production i have ever seen, one which Misleads you (a pool and a mudbath were promised, also showers and restrooms, all of which were staged well away from the party itself), one which dissapoints you in terms of soundwork, responsability, and a variety of other different topics. rest in peace, people. this was a bad Karma party.

jason sumerised it good.
all i can say is that : to make a succesfull party the orgenizers need several elements to work, if only 1 of the elements is not as it have to be the party wont be a good one.
i hope the next one will be better...           Don't Let Yourself Get Attached To Anything
