I am in the process of setting up my studio and have a lot of equipment to buy. Can you suggest any retailers that you've bought from in bangalore?

its a bad idea to buy equipment anywhere in india...esp production gear.. personally i think its too expensive... ull pay almost twice the price here... in bangalore all i know of is the m-audio retiailers Aditya Solutions.. but they have the worst sound engineer ever... so any advice from him is not recommended... if u take a walk on sp road u might come accross a few shops selling midi keyboards n sound cards... but again twice the original price...
best thing is to buy ur gear from anywhere outside india.. ull get it for the actual price, u may even get it directly from the company rather than a retailer.. ppl say that ull have to pay customs...but i believe there ar ways of getting these things down...a lot of artists do it... how?? don ask me... but for sure its possible.
other than that gear like amps, effect proccessors etc can be bought from here...this stuff is bought n sold a lot in india so u should manage to get a good deal..
cheers....

Buy it online. You can use http://www.20north.com. Look up the product from an online website in the u.s and send this website an email with the product link they will then quote you a price shipped to your door in India including customs. If the product is below 10k i think they will term it as a gift which might avoid customs altogether.
This is a better option if you need specific equipment which is not easily available in India. If its a product that you see in the local shops in India that would be the cheaper option i presume.Best t get a quote anyway and compare.

You should really consider adding product models and descriptions you carry on your website there is hardly any useable information on it.
